Short Introduction

Erbene de Castro Maia Junior is expected to graduate with a M.S. in Computer Engineering from Florida Tech in December 2022. He has over 7 years of experience in software engineering and has worked with several technologies. He was one of the early technology leads for the BiPTT mobile application, which has over 100,000 active users in Brazil. He has also worked on the Risk Intelligence module of the Digital Manager 360 application from SAI Global, named a 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for IT Vendor Risk Management Tools. More recently, he completed his software engineering internship at Salesforce during Summer 2022. He currently works as a graduate research assistant creating production-grade software and conducting research on seismic event classification for the group’s DeLAEINE project.
